The price for the living arrangement (in tight corners with three other girls, sharing one bathroom) was not the best. The apartment complex got around $2,400 each month from one small loft with four girls living in it, there were no doors separating everyone, it was just a common living area. The only thing that was nice about this place is everything was included. At the beginning the people in the office were not very helpful and a little rude
This is my first apartment and experience moving out and away from home. I do enjoy UEL, it’s lovely and my RA is super helpful and others I have met. I met my boyfriend here.
My experience was great. I loved that the rent wasn't as expensive as the dorms, and socialized more with my neighbors. I loved my roommates and they were great to hang around outside the loft which I never have done.
I appreciate the convenience of so many amenities included and the closeness to the campus. The rent is high, though rent's high everywhere.
living at the upper east side lofts was interesting in a lot of ways. the downside is that it is noisy by the 1700 loft space and sometimes there are homeless people around the complex. i like the free water/cookie station with cool events and the RA's are really nice.
Living here has been good. The reason I chose this place was its proximity to the school and that was very helpful when I’d wake up late. It has been clean and comfortable.
My experience with the apartments has been nice. I have had personal complication and they work well with all issues and resolve them as quickly as possible
As a resident here, I find that all work requests are responded too in a timely manner. Living here is not a bad experience but it is costly for sharing a room.
It's pretty good. The staff are friendly, the spaces are decent size. Activities happen throughout the week to get people involved which is nice.
I love this place because of its distance from school. The staff (especially maintenance) is really stellar and are always willing to help as soon as possible! The community rooms available are a great place for study and relaxation and for such a cheap price than others it's worth it.
it was mostly positive. great place to live! I had great roommates and management was, for the most part accommodating to my needs. They were polite and professional.
I enjoy living at a place where I can interact with fellow students and be so close to campus. The staff are really kind and our RAs are great!
The location of the apartments is very convenient for me because it’s just at a walking distance from Sacramento State and it does not take me long to get there.
I have enjoyed my experience here in the UEL. I got really lucky to have such amazing roommates. With the added bonus that the UEL is nearby the campus and the transit.
Comfortable living quarters, a nice view of campus from the 4th floor, a very cozy pool and hot tub, very handy staff on site 24/7, and safety and security it’s the complete package.
Super close to sac state and the walk is easy and not to long. The amendities are nice too. It’s a very nice place to live and everyone is super friendly
nice place with lots of room! love how they always put up events so all the residents can get to know each other! the people here are really amazing too!
Community is great! There is always something to do, whether it is going to the events, hanging out at the pool, relaxing in the Jacuzzi or playing ping pong in the community room! It is close walk/bike commute to CSUS. Live here. Live well.
This is a great a great apartment to stay at. I love the activities thrown in the community room by the RA’s. One thing that could be worked on is making sure each roommate in a room is cleaning/ do their part because some don’t follow the roommate contract rule.
The office stuff is great and it not that far from school. It’s awesome living here because you are meet cool people. It is a good location because it not far from freeway and the light rail.
It has always been nice having your own space and utilities at such a cheap amount but the roommates can be drag. But other than that it has been wonderful
love the lofts instead of dorming. wish people attended more events though because I would love the chance to interact more with other students since we all live so close to each other.
living at upper east side lofts i have met the most amazing people who work there. this is my first year and i enjoy living at at upper east side lofts
So far the rooms have been pretty good to me. The beds are tad bit small but that’s ok. The kitchen is great and I like that fact that we can pick our own roomates
Overall, a good experience. I wish the halls were aired out more frequently. Besides that, this is a good housing option for going to Sac State.
My stay at the lofts has been great so far! The staff is super nice and helpful. My room is huge and I get to share my space with people I now consider to be great friends. I would have never met them without moving here.
Staff, managers, maintenance, rent pricing, apt layout/appliances included are great. Roommate issues can be prevalent often. RA/RLC meetings can help with most issues.
So far in the time that I have lived (1 full semester and about 6 months) here everything has been perfectly fine. I have no complaints so far
It's nice living here, certainly better than the dorms, and the 9 month lease it what certainly sells it. There are a few minor things that could be better, but overall it's nice.
I love living here. Everything is really easy. I can walk to school and when I come back I can just relax. The kitchen is super nice to have as well as the washer and dryer inside the apartment. It’s great. I’m bummed that I don’t have main lot parking/:
I really enjoy living at the UEL because they are always so helpful and my RA Amanda is amazing. I am happy to have renewed for another year of fun.
It's a very nice place to live but sometimes the maintenance is not always on par where it should be when it comes to getting stuff fixed but it's otherwise very nice and convenient. :)
This is a great starter apartment for someone to live in when first coming to college. The staff is great and the location works well! I love it here!
IT is a nice distance from school and the walk isn’t to hard or far. Like that it is close to many walkable places such as the starbucks and food places around. Over all good place.
I have lived at the lofts for 4 years now and have very much enjoyed my experience there. It’s cheaper then the dorms and way nicer. The lofts provides a great community for students!
Helpful RAs! Really great area with a close walking distance from school. The people really really nice too ! Good eating places around the area!
Like it and very convenient to the school. The staff and people are really nice. The cost of living is very cheap with utilities. There are no complaints I have
Pretty good place to live. It's got walls and floors and ceilings and everything. There's even doors and lights. What more could you ask for
It has been a good experience until right now enjoy that the lofts are close to campus and that we have a lot of things near by us. As well the community in the lofts and everything the lofts try to do to help us.
It’s been great! I’m very glad to have chosen the upper east side lifts as my residency. My sister and I love together so it’s been a wonderful experience!
My experience as a resident is great, the RA's are very respectful and i like how safe it is. I like how were are able to print our assignments. The activities at the loft are great, and i like how we can meet new people.
I have been living here for more than a year now and I am pleased with the service. Staff and resident advisers are helpful. This place has everything that a student needs.
This is a very nice and convenient place to live. It is very close to the campus and it also has all the amenities that someone could need for a reasonable price.
I love living here at the Upper East Side Lofts!! I've had an amazing experience. The community is so friendly. I would recommend this place to my friends!
Great place to live in, has good adminities and there are places to eat near by. only down side is the cleaning they do before new residents arrive in August, they paint another coat and its really sloppy job.
I’ve been living here for the past three years and I can honestly say that overall, it has been a good experience. I enjoy seeing the activities and involvement RA’s and staff have throughout the year and appreciate their consistency in getting to know residents.
It pretty good. I like living here, it is nice and cool. people are also nice. love the food and grill, life is good. need more ping pong ball tho!
Maintenance is fast and easy. Staff is very friendly. Would easily recommend to anyone looking for a living experience that is near to campus and many stores for convenience.
I love the people, the location of the lofts and how we get treated here the only thing that would make it better and even more for our moneys worth is a small gym here!
Comfortable living situations, very close to campus, helpful staff on hand, zero pests present and a very pretty view of school in the evening.
Extremely convenient place to live if you are a Sac State college student. It’s about 2 blocks away from the school, about a 5min walk. And everything included in the price helps.
Great RAs, great amenities and the location is unbeatable. The only downside is the small amount of guest parking. It makes it difficult for family to visit.
The housing provides an excellent living experience for college students. Neighbors are respectful and mindful of others. Residents advisors provide ample opportunity to attend fun events and meet other residents. Overall, a great place to stay!
At first, the idea of living in an open floor plan apartment seemed like a hassle but after a few months, it turns out it wasn't all that bad. The maintenance crew is always on time(except for move in week).
I love the lofts! The RAs are amazing and most of the staff is wonderful. Things take a lot longer to get fixed than they should which is a bummer
Super close to school!! By bike, it takes you about 5 to 7 minutes depending on where you need to go on campus. The office is always doing something or giving stuff away which is awesome!
Great RAs and great community environment. I have never had a problem with anyone working the front office and the room I am staying in has had minimal problems
These two past months ive enjoyed livings here. So many events throughout the weeks, I try to attend as many as possible. I love that most days there’s always an event, gives me a chance to meet the people living here. The residents are nice especially the staff/RAs. Best part about this place isn’t how close it is to campus and that Starbucks is like 1 minuet at from me.
It's honestly a pretty nice place. School is close by so getting there isn't really an issue. I ride my bike there every day and I can get there within 10 minutes.
Pretty good. Needs work on management. Close to campus and has good area access for food. Target is close by so that is a plus for shopping and other grocery stores are down the street.
Very nice and clean and updated, but it does have some damage from previous residents. For example the pantry doer doesn’t close all the way.
My experience here at upper east lofts is amazing because the staff helps anyone in need for help and creates activity so that everyone can have the chance to have fun and meet new people.
I love how close Upper Eastside Lofts is to the campus! I enjoy walking so it gives me that opportunity. I enjoy all the amenities that comes with the lease!
I really enjoy living here! My apartment is clean and spacious, my roommate and I get along, and the complex itself is nice and inclusive. I’ve made a lot of friends since move in day, and I feel at home here.
Love my roommates and the events, the lack of security concerns me though. Alarms and a security guard would make me feel a lot safer coming home from late classes.
I am happy to live here. The security system is excellent and most of the staff are kind. However, I think it would be nice to pay more attention to the water management of the swimming pool. I also want to be under the care of insects.
I have had a good enough time here. I definitely have more accomodities than I did at home, but sometimes things Don"t work or have been broken by previous residents. It is clean and spacious but the room layout has no privacy. Parking is atrocious, but the staff is fair and kind.
The lofts are great! I feel very comfortable and safe living here. The staff is very attentive as well. I also enjoy the cookies and coffee that we can get in the office
It’s pretty good overall the only downside is how little visitor parking there is and the fact people can stay there for a week at a time or more.
Needs more parking spaces and better transportation. The area is okay, and for its price is okay. Im glad that they do offer a 9 month lease compared to other apartments.
I like the events in an apartment. And RAs are very kind! But at the fourth floor hall, smell is bad. Please more clear. Anything else is good!
It has its ups and downs, but the biggest upside is the location and the biggest downside is the condition of some of the things provided for us.
It is good that the RA are kind and have many various events. One regret is that there is a strange smell in the hallway of the apartment...
it’s been going well, everything is as it should be and everyone minds their own business in the halls and in their own rules, allowing everything to be quiet and calm.
So far my experience here has been pretty great. I love the short distance to school and the amount of activites that happen every week. Maintainance has resolved all our issues in a timely manner.
Had a rough start with roommate issues but luckily with the help of our attentive ra alissa, she helped us through it. I also got my windows smashed and you guys are reimbursing us so that's totally awesome. It's nice to live in an environment where the staff care.
Everything has been so great so far. Maintance has been quick with things and the RA is really nice. Having the access to the pool has been amazing at night as its so peaceful to go out and do homework late at night
Upper eastside lofts is a beautiful place to live! Very clean and modern. Having access to things like a free printer, pool, grill and community room with internet access makes life so much better and convenient!
My resident experience has been a very friendly and safe environment. The staff has been very helpful to answer any questions I have about my stay at UEL. I feel very much welcomed and at home!
Overall, it is very nice to live here. It is much nicer than the dorms, and in a lot of ways cheaper. It is also not too far from campus. However I do have a couple bug problems yet I have also not reported them yet so that can partially be my fault.
I like living at the Upper Eastside Lofts. I know my roommates really well and it's been a great experience. I like how we can do our laundry in the apartment and how we have a pretty big kitchen. I wish there were more parking spots at the lofts, but it's still been a good place to live while I'm in school.
Living here has been a great pleasure. I find the rooms to be very comfortable and accommodating. If I happen to need anything from the staff they are always happy to help, and work orders are fulfilled especially fast.
It's been really good. The office has been really helpful and the amenities are nice. My RA has also been very open and very willing to help as we need her.
Good so far, everything is comfortable and nice but there are drain flies all over my apartment. We put in a maintenance request and they came and “fixed” it but the problem has worsened.
Its a great complex, however I wish that there was more parking so my car wouldn't get broken into at lot 10, or if i have to park it a mile away i would appreciate night security.
Everything is great so far, I love my roommates, how close we are to campus and target. I’ve had problems with the kitchen sink but maintenance was helpful.
Overall my experience has been pretty well and the community itself is pretty great. Even though there were some problems in the room itself before I got here, this place did it's best at fixing all the problems.
The Upper Eastside Lofts are nice, open, space. They have kind personal and their association with Sac State is great. They have a lot of community engagement and my room was pretty clean!
So far the experience has been nice. The A/C broke broke down after 2 weeks, but the handy man fixed it as soon as the work order was put in. Other than that, its been chill. I like that they have movie nights and other events for the residents,(even though i don't attend). Just feels like you're living at a club house.
So far everyone has been very nice and welcoming, minimal noise from other apartments. There has been plenty of events dedicated for the community that shows their commitment as well
staff is very friendly. whenever there is an issue, they try to work with you in a timely manner to discover a solution.
in regards to home fixes, they also do their best to send someone to fix any issues
I really like staying at the Lofts, the people in the office are so nice. Another bonus is the free printing service, it’s super convenient and I don’t know what I would’ve done sometimes without it.
Love it, and the events they have every week. The RAs are very friendly. I also feel very safe here. As well as My neighbors are pretty great too.
The people here are really inviting and want you to get involved. They almost always have something going on and always keep you updated with news and activities. Overall its been a great experience so far.
So far my experience has been great. My RA is nice when she see me on campus she waves the staff is very nice as well. Everything in my apartment works.
My place is perfect. Close to campus. Cheap price. Beautiful kitchen. Haven’t found a single bug since I moved in. I love it here to say the least.
It's ok not much to it, the people are nice the stuff is chill, pool is a bit dirty sometimes but other than that can't complain much. Why is there a 140 character minimum it's not gonna make me say nicer things if you force me to write 140 characters
I am a first year freshman and I just moved in, in August. So far my experience here has been great. One of my favorite parts is having your own bathroom and you have your own washer and dryer.
Great place! Like that it is close to campus and just a walk away! I also like how it has a balacony and a full kitchen! Free internet and everything is included with rent and don’t have to pay for anything separately except grocery’s!
This is my first year living at UEL and it was been amazing so far. They provide so many different amenities which is one of the reasons that I decided to live here.
Maintenance has gotten much better. And improvements overall are slowly being made especially the new gate card scanner that makes me feel safer.
Everyone is very friendly, the complex is usually quiet, which is excellent from an academic standpoint, and plenty of events that fit almost anyone’s tastes.
The room was not really clean when I moved in. Also there were a lot of broken things.
Apert from that I think the rest is decent. The staff is very helpful.
This apartment is great for a first year college student. They have many fun events to get students involved. The location is great & I’m still getting my dorm room college experience.
Great walking to school, and nice big rooms and common areas! People are nice and helpful and the RAs are always there to help you. The office is nice too!
good location, close to school.
always available to help you and make sure you living well in a safe environment.
good amenities and good service.
The UEL is a good place to live since it's close to school and has good amenities included with your lease. It is also cheaper on the cost compared to the dorms in school. It has different room options and you can pick your roommates as well. I've had a pleasant experience at the lofts
I have had a good experience living at upper Eastside lofts. It’s great to have access to a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer within my own room. There is limited space when it comes to sharing cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, however it is manageable.
Amenities have improved and roommate matching system really helps. Incentives are great. I try to make it to activities that take place in the community room as much as I can so that makes it more interesting to live here. Overall convenient place to live.
I have had the opportunity to be a part of UEL's community for the past two years and it has been a great experience. I was able to meet new people and experience a safe and fun college experience.
Great place to live. I've lived here for a year and fresh out of high school. Its a great start to be on your own and I love with 3 others so I never get lonely. The area is nice and the maintenance is fast. I couldn't ask for more where I live.
Maintenance was so much better this year compared to the previouse years I have been there. I liked that they allowed me to pay my 1st installment for the next lease term before moving out for summer, so that I did not have to come by over summer. They have made many room improvements including new tv, new couch and chair, but the internet is still too slow for 4 people a room.
It has been really great living in the lofts, but I won’t give five stars because sometimes it takes a while to have something fixed after you put in a work order. Other than that the staff is friendly and the rooms are nice, and the pool and hot tub are great too!
I made great friends living at the lofts. The RAs were super welcoming and connected with the residents. There is a lot of great food and activities around
UEL is a nice place to live. Apartments are very affordable and worth the price. They are well equipped. I enjoy using the pool and ping pong court.
My first year living off campus and this was where I decided to reside in and I loved it. Made very great friends. Can't wait for next year!
Very spacious, and overall really nice. Great place to make friends! awesome events to attend and really nice RAs. Very close to campus, not too long of a walk!
Area and facilities are clean. They are prompt in fixing issues. Only problem is them fixing roommate problems, where its best to remove problem roommate out.
Worth the money for the quality of apartment. Friendly staff and RA that are available on site almost every time you need them. Pool and parking available
pricing is too high for a place that gives you no privacy. things were broken and dirty when we got here. maintenance doesn’t really help us fix anything when we put in a work order(he taped our blinds together). and if you decide to do a 12 month lease then you have to move to a different room anyway. also if you have any questions or concerns no one will help you with it. i hates my roommates and no one tried to help me switch to make my experience here better.
Been here for a bit , with changes in staff at time it has gotten better over time and love the price I pay . Communication is pretty good but sometimes a bit difficult
I enjoyed living here for the past few months. It is a great and peaceful environment to live in. The people who live in my community are very nice and friendly.
Super close to school, there is even a night shuttle that'll pick you up in front of the office and take you anywhere on campus. Overall the best part of living here is being so close to campus.
I like this place because it's really close to school and to several groceries places. close to the bus station and there is the hornet bus that can pick you up. the people are nice and help you when you need something.
Pretty great, but maintenance will ring the Doorbell and if you don’t answer the door within like three seconds will go ahead and open the door themselves... and apparently you can’t have recyclables on your patio.. other then that it’s great!
In my opinion it’s better that the dorms. Choosing roomates is the hardest part but besides that I would recommend to anyone trying to get a feel for the college experience.
Cool place. Great maintenance respond time. Wifi is stable and fast. Kitchen is nice along with work appliances. Pool is up kept nicely. Cool community room
The community at the Upper Eastside Lofts is average. My roommate and I were matched via their online service and that worked out well, but our neighbors and floor itself is very noisy.
I have really enjoyed living at the UEL and getting to know the residents. If you're looking for a place that is not to far from the Sacramento State campus then look no further than the Upper East side lofts.
Maintenance is getting this year. Our RA is late most of the time for meetings. There was a time she was super late to our meeting and when she remembered. She said she had been sitting by the pool and that she forgot we had a meeting.
Place is nice, location is the best, and people are really friendly! The location is so close, it takes a short time to walk to school, but even a short time to bike!
Overall very satisfied with my experience here at the lofts. The rent may seem steep at first glance but it includes all your bills rapped up into one payment (very convenient).
Rooms in general are nice. I personally wouldn’t recommend parking in Lot A, a lot of activity happens over there. Maintenance guys and RA’s are very nice!
Needed more work as far as maintenance and needs a better job at assigning roommates. Huge problem with bugs. Should update some way for residents to have their own personal spaces in the rooms
Not a bad place, a bit expensive for the amenities and space. I live in 4bed/2bedroom and it’s a little small, but we make it work. Walk to campus is nice though
Even though I got to sac Scott and not sac state. The UEL is super convenient for me as I have the light rail and bus across the street. The price is right for what we get. Internet, cable, washer/dryer, utilities.
Its been a pretty good experience, the staff is great here very helpful, great community of people here to meet and have fun with, I enjoy all the events that are thrown here like movie screenings and hall deco events very inviting
Upper East side lofts is a great experience to meet new people and have some independence. Even as a freshman I feel comfortable and being independent was a great step for me. The place is not too shabby why you make it your own and is quite affordable. I live with 4 others, so that might seem like a lot, but if they are nice and you get to know them, then it makes the experience even better!
It has been a great living experience! The room has everything we could need, walking distance from school, and a staff that’ll help you out with anything!
It's a good place to live. Roommates are cool. Neighborhood is good and everything is accessible. The ping-pong court closes too early though
The RA’s are extremely nice but the way management handles situations is terrible. Not to mention the fact that they have a serious bug problem.
I love living at the lofts. I wish there was more privacy but that's okay. There are a lot of other problems with the building, like the fact that the entire 6400 side hall doors don't lock, and the gate entrance on the same side allows your to go out but not back in.
Everyone I have netball has been very nice and welcoming to me. Everyone is very respectful of one another and of quiet hours. I haven’t had many issues.
A very good place. Good area, good people, good places around it, good environment, good living, good staff, good interior, good appliances. Everything is good
I have had a good experience here at the Upper Eastside Lofts. All my housemates get a long with one another. Besides for some things that have broken, everything had been good here
I love it so much here at the Lofts! It's very peaceful, positive, and filled with friendly people. I get along great with my roommates as well as my boyfriend's roommate's. The lofts is a very nice community.
It’s cool living here. It’s weird not having much privacy since it is a loft but it’s manageable. It’s also close enough to school that I can wake up thirty minutes before class and still make it on time.
I hate living here. The RAs all have bad manners. I just live here because it's cheap. I camnot afford any other place.I really do love the washer and dryer. I do not know what I would do without them. Best thing in this place.
When we first came into the apartment the area was not clean at all. The appliances were run down and I was worried that things were going to break. The pool is dirty and gross. But the view is amazing.
Utilities included, don’t have to worry about separate payments. System is easy as far as payments and shipments. We have a helpful front office.
UEL experience is great. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. they do a lot of community events an try to make everyone come close together and thats what I Like about living here.
I like the place. Is very convenient to live close to school and also close to stores where I could go grocery shopping. The apartment is also very comfortable for anyone.
Worth the money for the quality of apartment. Friendly staff and RA that are available on site almost every time you need them. Pool and parking available
My first semester here wasn’t too bad. We only had a hot water issue but that’s been solved. The people here are friendly and the stores are within close range which is helpful.
Living at the lofts has been a good experience, everyone has been super friendly and helpful in whatever I’ve needed. I’ve met a few people that I️ now hangout with on a daily.
First, it is a safe community and I highly recommend it. Second, there is a problem with the pests in my apartment but they were able to address it. Also that they still check on it from time to time. Third, the location is very convenient since it is near the uni I go to, different food places, and convenient stores.
The buildings and staff were nice, but sharing ONE room with THREE guys is unenjoyable. You truly get to know someone when you eat, sleep, breath, study, and shower in the same quarters as someone. I have learned the value of privacy and headphones while living here.
Maintenance is getting better this year. We have had light bulbs changed, beds raised, etc. and the staff was nice and fixed everything we have needed.
When I have had a package delivered, the desk staff send out email and text messages saying package has arrived.
Overall, i feel like my apartment community is amazing. However my neighbors are always playing loud music in which i find very disrespectful especially when my sister and i are studying or decide to go to sleep early.
So far my resident experience has been great and the place has really done its job at making me feel safe in the environment. The place is overall a great place to live at.
The apartments themselves are aesthetically pleasing and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, in addition to the neighbours. Also, it's in a safe neighbourhood!
My biggest problem is the rent. I pay way too much for how shabby my apartment is. I also do not like the lower lot because there are a lot of homeless people and it is not well lit.
UEL has a very friendly environment. RA Bri does a great job ensuring that everything is going good with her kids. Management is okay. Overall good experience
Other than the occasional noisy roommates, the experience of living here and going to and coming from the University every day is wonderful.
Maintenance takes a while, but service is improving and I'm glad they implemented the online roommate matching system. Wish they would check each room to see if each appliance works before move-in so there wouldn't be a flood of work orders waiting to be done.
decent place, could be better. management could be better, maintenance could be better, roommate pairing could be better, professionalism could be better.
I enjoy living at the lofts, the rent is reasonable, and the location is ideal. There are things that need improvement, but overall it's a good place to live.
I lived here last year and I enjoyed that it has reasonable prices for rent and loved how close it was to campus and was able to walk everyday.
It's a great living experience being here. I've made great friends and all the activities that go on are loads of fun! There is also a great group of management!
I really like living here and have for a while now. The maintenance team has always been on top of things when I've put in work orders and am thankful for their hard work and efforts. I also really like that the location near the school and food.
Ive had one of the best times here at the lofts. It is only my second year here and honestly its amazing. A little pricey but then again you have to think about everything that goes into this place. All utilities are included. I highly recommend living here for first time students.
UEL has really great staff, the RA's here are the best💖 And do there absolute best to make your experience here absolutely amazing. Really nice community set up
Apartment community is nice so far, great amenities, and very convenient in regards to distance from school. Maintenance requests take up a good amount of time and parking is extremely limited.
Overall, I've had a fantastic living experience here. The staff has been friendly and helpful. I was matched up with an amazing roommate. The facility always has events planned and opportunities to get out of the apartment to meet other people, explore the area, and have fun. It's also a very safe feeling environment because of the gate out front and security they have available. I've always felt very safe and comfortable here. It's a great start for anyone moving out for the first time!
office staff could be better organized in regards to handling paperwork. maintenance does a good job with checking if appliances are working or not. however, overall, the living space and amenities for the lofts is wonderful.
Good living but needs improvements and needs faster maintenance to meet needs of residents. The upgrades that have been done are great (eg. new tv, ceiling fan, etc.)
My first year here was bad only because I had a bad roommate but they worked with me to get me a better one the second year. They are friendly and helpful to all they meet
Addresses were printed wrong on the envelopes given, although corrected action was only taken after an email was sent when they were well aware of error made.
Very good. More huge events would be nice. Such as flash back prom or something very fancy where you can dress up for. A way to make people be more interactive
Good place to live in. It's my first time to live in a dorm and I'm glad that I lived here on my first year in Sacramento. Nice people and safe neighborhood.
Regina Angelene H. G.
Apartments are great and affordable. Office staff is really nice. Maintenances can have some improvement but other then that great community to be a part of
Living at the UEL is a lot of fun, being a Sac student only community makes it easy to make friends, the only down side of living at the UEL is that sometimes you can find your self living in filth, hallways are often dirty as well as the elevator, living on the 4th floor sucks because the elevator can take up to 5 minutes, you're better off taking the stairs, but who wants to go up 8 sets of stairs?
Great look forward to living here next year with the new rent rate, good to see the pool up and running and am a fan of the location and how close we are to campus. Also thankful that Termix sprays my garage to get rid of the black widows and please keep it up (#1710) also the RAs are great
The place is okay if only it had a gym it would have been better and also the whole guarantee for the parking should happen. It is not fair to the student the they have to pay for something that happened at the lofts.
A good place to live in as a student. People are nice and friendly. Events are enjoyable. Diverse community. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

The Lofts are a very nice place to live. I don't think it can get any better than this. Although, it's a bit pricy it's still a nice place!!
my apartment community is okay. There's always cool things going on. It I feel like they could do better with the upkeep of the place. Would make ratings better.
im very much enjoying my time at the lofts. the living spaces are wonderful and new and clean. i love my roomates, the selection process definitely placed me with the right people.
I am very happy that the pool is getting done prior to spring break, I've been waiting for so long! Also, the staff is great and I have been having a lot of fun with the recent activities that have been occurring at the lofts!
People keep running and stomping on the floor above us, I'm not use if we are under a room or a hallway because it occurs frequently. However our RA is very nice and friendly and stops by and chats sometimes.
Doing okay so far just wished the place had a gym it would have been great other than that the living is great. Another thing is I wished they had stuck to there word on matching roommates by the questionnaire.
Maintenance always takes awhile. Community activities are mostly towards the end of the week and I wish there were more throughout the week.
We need more maintenance people. Also training for them would be good so they don't come into a room confused. Also rules that aren't in the contract need to stop being enforced. We are adults not high schoolers
i love the lofts. the lofts are great. they are super neat and cool. i love how close they are to the campus. i like my room. i like my roommates.
Living at the Lofts has been a pleasant experience so far. The location is awesome, it is a nice 7-minute bike ride to class. The RA's that I have met are fun and easy to talk with. The only problem is that maintenance request take awhile.
Great I love the living but not the roommate. I thought the residence are paired by major also along with hobbies and what not. My roommate is nothing like that. However, I like the living area, the cleanliness of the pool and also the RA's are very nice. I enjoy the games and activities they put up during the months.
Great :) love the events that keep the residents involved and engaged! I think it's important to know what's going on in the community. Thank you for always keeping it alive!
So far so good. I've really enjoyed living here for the past month almost. The lofts really make me feel like I am at home. The only down side is having only two maintance guys.
good for survies and really nice arey. so many things to do in Loft! so fun and also has nice swimming pool and beds. and I feel so safty in loft.
so far so good but you can advertise events a little bit better. The techniquel issues needs to worked on. We went 2 weeks without lighting.
Definetly a way better alternative to dorms. Plenty of room and I love the big bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of closet space as well. Takes about 10 minuets to walk to campus.
So far everything is good :) Everything works, the staff are nice and helpful, the UEL Lofts are less than 10 mins away from sac statedriving wise, and you can easily walk to campus. I'm happy that I chose the UEL Lofts.
Good place to live and nice RA's. Close to campus. Weird smell in halls sometimes but overall good so far. Nice staff. Good amenities in rooms. :)
Great lofts. Very spacious areas for two or three people. The only thing I wish there was, is a gym or workout center. Overall, great times so far
Upper Eastside Lofts is my home away from home. Living here has been a blast thus far. Though I miss my family back home, UEL makes me feel so at home.

Computer to use for late night/early printing jobs for students in a rush. Roommate agreement forums also came in late would appreciate more efficient process. My other community rewards account was also deleted and says I am no longer a resident.
I'm doing great. I love how close we are to school and how involved our RAs are! I like it so far, and I love my roommates and I'm looking forward to what else's is to come
I like the lofts alot.. Its been home for me for almost a year now. Great management team! The RA's have always been awesome and I find that people really want to work with you.
Close to target and many restaurants. Didn't have to worry about gas or electricity bills which were included in monthly bills. Maintenance takes a while to get around. Had lots of encounter with cockroaches even though pest control came by a few times.
I love how UEL prints calendars every month to let us know about all the events and activities going on!! Thank you so much for that. Also thank you for the fun activities you do every month. I don't know any other place that would do the same
Overall the Lofts is alright the only issue would be how long maintenance takes to fix something. The noise level was also at times problematic since I live near the gate but it cannot be helped.
Great experience living at the Upper Eastside Lofts! They were nice, and convenient because they were close to school! The community room, study room, and pool and spa area! However, the parking was terrible
Overall my experience at the Upper East Side Lofts was great! The apartments were nice and we had a lot more room than the dorms. I really bonded with all of my roommates.
I love how close it is to school. I don't have to drive my car to school or pay for a parking permit. The RAs are always helpful and approachable. The free printing is a huge plus and essential for college students. Also love the washer/dryer in unit.
Amazing ! It made my fist year amazing. The transition was easier than expected. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions I had
The location is extremely convenient. I can walk to school in 15 minutes or bike in less than 10! However, because of the lack of privacy I will not be renewing my lease.
It's been great. At times I've felt the staff was a little rude or unhelpful. But when they can help me they do a great job. I love the community games and the decorations.
The lofts are a good place to live at. However for the price I feel like it could be better. We've had to call maintenance for multiple reasons (lights not working, electrical etc) and there are still things that need to be fixed (closet door is broken, microwave handle is broken). They could do better in maintaining the pool area, there are times when the lights aren't even turned on or the hot tub hasn't been cleaned so it makes you not want to go in there. The whole property is a bit messy with trash in the hallways and elevator. Also some of the RA's are too strict complaining about noise on the weekends at like 10 pm. Also some of the management can work on being nicer and attending to the students more. However the lofts themselves are nice and surprisingly spacious, its nice having a washer and drier in our apartments and having a big bathroom.
Needs to be upgraded. Ya'll need to be more efficient when taking care of your residents problems! Nice office staff. Rent is too high for the condition of the apartments.
You guys are doing a great job. Everything is on point, maintenance, services, the office, RAs, and all the staff. The Uppee Eastside lofts are just wonderful.
Lived here for three semesters and quickly became an active member of the community. Have had a positive experience here and have made tons of friends in the tight knit community
Could of expected better . Good at times , had a lot of issues with maintenance here , lots of problems with the place. Never heard back from the office when I needed assistance.
It is pretty good, there are nice pool and some restaurant nearby here. but the service is too late. if I want to fix something, It takes too long time. In addition, some where is a little bit old and dirty (sofa, bathroom)
It's been a great experience living here and I have never had a huge problem. Maintenance is great. It may take awhile for things to be done but it does get done.
Decent place to live. The rooms come with many amenities that make it worth the stay. The pool and community room are very nice, and matinence responds quickly.
I really love how close we are to campus. It makes it really easy to get to and from my classes. I do wish the Internet was faster but otherwise I have no complaints. It's a great community to live in.
Water pressure is never enough, volume on tv decreases, upstairs people are always stomping even though we've told them to quiet done. Hallway always smell like garbage.
Goood! The ra are following up on us pretty well and the only thing to complain about is tue maintenance service. We been trying to get our light fixed for the longest time
I enjoy the free wifi, laundry and maintenance staff! However there are times when I do wish I had a door to close to secede myself from roommates. Only issue is that.
So far my experience at the Upper East Side Lofts has been very enjoyable. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the rooms are nice. I love my roommates and all of the events that give me the opportunity to meet new people.
You guys are so easy going but very helpful if we ever had any problems!! I like how you guys give us a monthly calendar with events and how you come door to door to invite us to those events!
I feel like some of the staff think we are children and talk to us like we are in high school rather than college students. Sometimes they get annoyed when we go ask for things, and maintenance requests are super slow to be filled
I love the amenities and room layouts. Only trouble is with the student staff. They need to be better informed so that they may be more helpful and accurately answer questions.
I love living at the lofts! Its so easy to get to school and back home, I love that it is basically an apartment with everything we need to get through school (washer, dryer, WiFi, etc).
I love living here! I have made so many friends, my RA is excellent, my roommates are fantastic, we are really close to campus, and we have a study room; just in case we need extra quiet or privacy while studying.
Overall the management isn't fantastic but the RA's do their best without a doubt. It's alright living here but the rent is too much given the time it takes for maintenance, Internet speeds, and various appliances that break frequently.
I definitely enjoy living here, it is spacious and free laundry and Internet is a plus. However, I do feel the maintenance requests could be filled faster.
Way better than dorms could ever be. Has a convenient location. Has great amenities and is cheap for what it provides. It's surrounded by great stores and light rail.
Everyone is really friendly and the distance from campuses great! I really the monthly activities and the community feeling here at the lofts. The staff is also very helpful, haven't had a major issues here so far.
The best part of living at the lofts is the security. Knowing its gated and safe. (More or less) And the distance to school. Lately there's been way too many other issues to make it enjoyable. No need to air dirty laundry though.
Living here it's great but it would be a lot greater if the WI-FI worked! Besides that I love living here and I enjoy this community as well.
It is a nice living space, and the location is very convinient with the light rail station nearby, proximity to school, and the stores on the area like target.
Pretty good, community is nice and quiet and building is kept clean. Though the internet for our room is unreliable and I am not sure if there is a new maintenance staff is available, I think we should have been informed about the recent loss of maintenance staff.
I really like living here for the most part. There is nothing too bad that I can say other than maintenence can be slow at times, but it's not too big of an issue
Good but as the years went by the service has gone down. I have a work order from December and its not the end of February. But the place is pretty clean so its whatever.
I like living at the lofts but when we had issues with our internet they wouldn't help us fix it. My RA also never did his wellness check and tends to ignore my room mate and I.
1 Stop and take a look around you. What do you see? Imagine that you have never been in the space you are in right now. How would you describe it to someone who has never been there?
2 Now, close your eyes and listen. What do you hear going on around you? Anything else?
3 Breathe in deeply. What do you smell?
4 How does your body feel overall? How do your feet feel? How about your shoulders? How does your stomach feel?
5 And what about your mind? What is it doing right now? Thinking? Planning? Worrying? Making judgments?
1 Get settled in a comfortable seated position and close your eyes.
2 As you breathe in and out, let your stomach expand and contract. As you breathe in, imagine there is a balloon expanding in your stomach, allowing space around your organs. As you breathe out, just let the air flow easily out of the balloon.
3 Once you are settled, say to yourself silently, ‘Breathing in one,’ then ‘Breathing out one’ for the first breath; then ‘Breathing in two . . . out two,’ etc. Go up to ten, then count backwards, nine to zero.
Think of each breath as a separate event. Each breath gives you the chance to practise focusing on something and to disengage from distractions. This can be a very useful exercise when faced with temptation.
When you are on the brink of eating something you know you shouldn’t — having probably justified it to yourself — try doing this first.
It gives you a moment of reflection to calm your emotions and to really question if you want that unhealthy treat, or if there’s another force at play.
1 Before you put anything in your mouth, stop and ask yourself: Am I hungry? Why am I eating this? Is this food supporting my health? How will I decide when to stop eating?
2 Choose a smaller dish, ask for a smaller portion (weigh your pre-diet portions — you might be surprised at how large they had become). Check your meal divides the plate, so half is vegetables, a quarter is protein and a quarter starches.
3 Slow down your eating. Start your meal with a silent mini-meditation. Stop your meal after ten bites and check your hunger and fullness signals.
Take a ten-minute break halfway through your meal before deciding if you should eat more. Consider eating with your non-dominant hand, using chopsticks, or even using chopsticks with your non-dominant hand.
Do whatever it takes to just slow things down. The body doesn’t release the hormone that signals you’re full until ten minutes after you start eating, so this will really help you realise when you’ve had enough.
